Hi Tula. Just catching up on your thread now. I’m sure the process was difficult but it seems like you have carefully thought it through and made some very good decisions. So I have a question … would you consider just having a small number of goldfish that would be easy to care for? I am about the same age as you and have two 2 year old granddaughters and a 4 year old grandson. When they visit us they love helping Papa feed the fish and is something they really look forward to!

Awwwww, I bet they love feeding the fish! It's possible we'd consider a few smaller fish, but not this year if we add any it'll be next Spring that way I won't worry about them over the winter.

So far I've been enjoying working on my floating planters and making new spots in the pond for lily pots that raise them closer to the water's surface. Still love listening to the water fall and it seems several frogs have hung around :)

if its just the quarantine pond then im guessing his pond has to be at least three times that size. was that white butterfly yours ??
