Don’t think it has been that long, seems like in the past week or two the cannas have taken off

love the lily, jhn; and for sure, your canna forest is going gangbusters. I used to put one in my bog but it gets pretty large and with a black taro very near, it got sort of congested last year. Do you have any colors like GB (the confetti version, etc)? Might have to 'find' a place next year as I miss them.
Looking good; and of course, another prompt for more dbt pics! Can that smart cam of yours take any video of the dbt+koi? (use the polarized sunglasses trick, here, too!)
Yes, have 2 of the confetti looking canna believe it is called cleopatra. one of them is in the pics of the bog at the moment it put up the purple flower stalks, which put out red flowers. The one in the bog at the other end of the pond put up the variegated stalks, which get the confetti yellow and red flowers mix look.

Yup someone was daring enough to share there hard work . What i loved about his pond the most was his edging and the liner running all the way out to the curb that kept the turtles in This way the water is controlled no matter where it runs. that and the edging had rocks turned in all directions and not just the long way heading down the length of the pond. Made it look all the more natural.

Some additions to the pond, dead wood taken off a job site, although the one on the ground will need to air out as it got diesel on it in the back of the truck. Would have taken the whole tree these came off of but tough to transport a waterlogged dead log around 16” diameter and 30’ long with no equipment at home to move it……needed Barney over here.

I'd be concerned about that myself; there's got to be more dead logs to use lying around somewhere and avoid a possible calamity.

I'd sure be concerned about letting diesel enter my pond. Maybe tho you are talking a very small amount? Maybe try something safe to wipe it off like vinegar or?
