Yahoo has a good story on a milky bar albino rare snail found the size of a persons fist .One really nice looking snail for a snail .I would love to see that one in real life

Sissy once you put the trapdoor snails into the pond, when you net the bottom you will need to check for them. I go through any stuff I pull out for snails, tadpoles a fish off and on.....

yeah sissy ime gona keep my pump filter going as long as i can, do you think it will be ok when i do switch it off, can i leave the pump in the pond ?? as i made the mistake of burying the cable and now the pampass grass have grew, could be a job to dig it up again !

You can leave the pump in the water mogsie as long as your water does not freeze down to the level of the pump. If you pull it out you would need to put it in a bucket of water to keep the seals moist.

I use a kitchen colander on top of a bucket to strain things when I net the bottom any way .I still have tadpoles in the pond and I can't kill them no matter what .I but the the colander that has the holes not the slits .I always buy 4 or 5 when I see them ,the ones with the holes are harder to find at the dollar stores.

Good Idea sissy, I will give that a try next summer, is a pain to finger all the stuff pulled out to save critters.

Just had the TV on while I was reading posts here. Gotta tell everyone that this guy, Brad Meltzer (Brad's Decoding) on the History channel is such a piece of garbage! Does this guy really believe this crap that he spews out? My goodness. This guy's show is really lame. Lame? How about dumb as a retarded box of rocks! I hope that no one in the world buys into this guys garbage. It isn't even entertaining! I think that this guy is just trying to make up a "hype and conspiracy" dialog and it is just about as good as a "I Married Big Foot" story! LOL

Sorry, I just cannot believe that they are putting this junk on the "History" channel.

What does some lunybug's off the wall conspiracy theory have to do with HISTORY?

Well, thanks for letting me rant! LOL :)

The history channel has changed from what it was and has more and more reality shows on it, some entertaining others I can't stand. I would like for the channel to get back to its original format that it was years ago before all the reality shows.

I used to watch Pawn stars but then went out to Vegas and saw the shop in person. That show is so staged it's unreal, Chum Lee walked right by us and never said Hi or anything even after others were saying hi to him. That show made him popular and at the least he could do is reply and say hi, but I guess when you get famous you can just $^it on those folks, you don't need them anymore. I haven't watched the show since we got back from Vegas over a year ago.
