Holy Mac addy..................you have big toms to eat right now! You better pick some to go cuz looks like that plant is in the ground to stay. Do they grow year round and never die down there?

That is a man o war? I thought it was a really pretty flimsy one of those shells you blow into...........weird :wideyed:

been looking at new vehicle and looking at the ford escape titanium with ford employee discount I could get a pretty good deal .I need at least 1 good vehicle. .2.9 eco boost sounds good to me also and ford credit zero interest .I hate to buy another vehicle but may come down to it .Will wait to see what auto tech says tomorrow .Then will decide .I like the explorer v8 but need something that does not break down .I want to go to NJ this spring to the ford 980 get together .I may rent a vehicle again .

I need to retrain my brain sissy. Think I will buy some popcorn for my air popper but then what about the butter? Any kind of good flavoring to use instead? Maybe some kind of powdered cheddar cheese?

JW this is how I spice up my popcorn, my favorite is the Maple Pecan Butter Popcorn or my Liquorice alcohol infused popcorn!!
They can be done in coconut oil or gee butter. Either way it is VERY good, not to sweet, just nice and fluffly and crisp. Throw out the hot air popcorn, they dry out the popcorn and once you try it this way... well there is no other way after that!!!

I can't do popcorn like that on a glass cook top .I tried 1 time and that convinced me it is impossible .It will not only scratch the glass but the popcorn burns before it pops .Warning for glass cook top people .I have one of those plug in grid 1 burner things but it does not get hot enough to pop popcorn .

somebody else told me that too, does not work well on glass top, but you do not have to shake all the time, just cook at med high heat, LIFT and SHAKE, rest back down on heat. If you notice I did not shake all the time, and as soon as the kernals start to pop really hard, turn off the heat. Just made the Maple Pecan Butter popcorn for my mom, and then I drissled extra home made maple butter with extra pecans into the mix and just a pinch of sea salt. Popcorn is all organic in my house.

If you make it yourself, you control the salt and the sugar, and choose healthy butter gee or healthy coconut oil. The healthfood stores now sell half coconut oil and half gee butter, both are now considered VERY healthy!!

Looks yummy Colleen but I'm trying to stay away from sugar. I have the glass cook top also. I'm gonna look for that gee butter in the store. I looked online and guess you can make the stuff yourself from real butter :)

I never knew but there is also a warning when you buy a glass cooktop not to pop popcorn on it .I happen to see it in my new range book .Did get desperate one time and made it on the side burner of my gas grill .Electric went out and that side burner came in handy .Tea ,coffee ,hot chocolate ,popcorn ,grilled cheese and soup .Like camping out in style :)no tent required. That popcorn looks yummy good and think I can smell it wind must be blowing this way .Yep got that cold Canadian air here now
