I'm going to try to make that cauliflower bread today that I saw in the good foods thread.:)

Ok, that didn't work out very well.

I tried cooking it on a cookie sheet and the bottom turned out burnt with the top still undercooked.
Next time I'm maybe going to try it in a 9 X 11 baking dish and a little cooler over temperature.
I need some more cauliflower first.

The taste was pretty good for what was edible though.:)

We were thinking of painting our shop a nice barn red w/ white trim. What ya think? The house is now grey w/blk trim but the shop sits a long ways from the house and the shop has that kind of barn look to it.

That is a killer barn! :)

It would look great in a darker red and white I think.(y)
What's the siding made out of?

Thanks Mitch. The house has cedar siding and the shop has Hardie Board and was installed by a professional who knew the right way to install it. If you don't install that stuff correctly it can be a nightmare :wideyed:

Go for it jw, the red would be very pretty! Love your barn! Our darn country restricts the size of out buildings we can have. They base it as a percentage of your house under roof.

I can't imagine having a restriction to the size of out buildings a person had. That's crazy, Addie! Guess they don't want people putting up lots of out buildings for their collections of cars, tractors, etc. huh?
JW, I would also agree with Mitch, and go with a deep red, closer to burgandy, for your barn. My barns have burgandy roof, white sides. Seems folks around here are going to darker roofs, lighter colors for the siding. Your house was done that way, too. Here's my barn after new siding, roof, and paint on the part that was newer already. All of the main barn (tallest part) was old wood siding, that I covered. This gives you an idea of what dark roof and light siding looks like. Whatever color you choose, it will look great! I love red/white myself, but wanted "different".
9 North and west side complete except corner trim.JPG

Whew, took about 10 tries to get this pic to fully upload.

A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course.

One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral
procession... on the road next to the course. He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.

His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.

The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married for 35 years.”
