I don't like that I can't tell what are messages I have not read vs ones I have any longer. On my "alerts" page, it shows ALL messages posted on threads I follow. OK, I get that, but how do I know if I've read them or not? Before, just one line for each thread, and it was highlighted if there were unread messages. I'm having a hard time liking the new changes, but wondering if I'm just missing how to use it properly? Any help?

It works a little differently to before, but any unread thread/forum should have a little blue dot to the left of a bolded title - clicking that should jump you to the most recent post. It may be that since the upgrade it considers everything unread, so you can click the "mark forums read" button on the top menu once you've caught up and then everything should be in sync :).

Very interesting stuff y'all. Mind Blowing!!!!! Have a history teacher explain this if they can. Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. J...ohn F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946. Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960. Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost a child while living in the White House. Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head. Now it gets really weird. Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln. Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839. Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939. Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters. Now hang on to your seat. Lincoln was shot at the theater named "Ford." Kennedy was shot in a car called "Lincoln" made by "Ford." Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. And here's the "kicker": A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland. A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe. AND...................: Lincoln was shot in a theater and the assassin ran to a warehouse... Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and the assassin ran to a theater... I saw this had to share just in case anyone did not know."}'

A group of women were at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband.
The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?"
All the women raised their hands.
Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?"
Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some couldn't remember.
The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text their husband:

"I love you, sweetheart."
The women were then told to exchange phones with another person, and to read aloud the text message they received, in response.

Here are some of the replies:

1. Who the hell is this?
2. Eh, mother of my children, are you sick or what?

3. Yeah, and I love you too. What's up with you??
4. What now? Did you crash the car again?

5. I don't understand what you mean?
6. What the f*** did you do now?

7. ?!?
8. Don't beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?

9. Am I dreaming?
10. If you don't tell me who this message is actually for, someone will die.

11. I thought we agreed you wouldn't drink during the day.
12. Your mother is coming to stay with us, isn't she??

JW, well, that test didn't prove anything I didn't know. I'm a bad liar, always have been, so haven't done it for a very long time. LOL
Ian, thanks for the pointers. I see the "new" blue box on the top of each new comment, so that will help. It will just take some getting used to, but thanks for pointing out some of the new stuff!

Oh, I found it!!! Watched Threads! Now I see what I wanted to see, and it's bolded if I have some posts I've not read yet, and not bolded if I've read them. Whew, I'm back on track. Terrible how we do things a certain way, and when they are changed, we/I get "lost". I think I have been found again. Now, where are my cute little emoticons? Can I please have them back, especially the happy sun? ;)
