Ha ha ha, don't tell them that Big Lou, or you might be released frim jury duty!

Was watching these Golden old county songs from the 50's and 60's, remastered and sounds wonderful to hear those old country songs, might have to order the collection, but they want over 115 Canadian dollars for the collection..., thinking about it.... :)

Wasn't selected for jury duty. Of six cases scheduled five settled leaving only one. With six jurors to each hearing and me being juror 12 there was no need for me. I did watch the hearing. A pitiful lady thought see could convince the jury she was going only 30 when the Officer's pin point laser gun clocked her at 57. Found quaily, $200 fine plus court costs. Wifey works about fifty feet from the court room so I had time to meet her nice coworkers. Cathy even had time to take me to a local dinner where I had lean pulled roast beef and blackened peas. Was a very nice outing on the sunny but cold (just very chilly) day. Now I'm in the recliner with Sunny on my lap. Life is good. :)

I had jury duty once in NJ and they put us in the basement of the court house in New Brunswick and no windows just chairs ,locked away and herded to the elevator every time we were called up .I felt like a prisoner ,we had to pay 5 dollars for parking since they had yet to build the jurors parking lot .No machines in the basement for soda or snacks and there were 30 + people by my count in a 20x 25 room and all I could think about was if there was a fire .I counted the floor tiles to figure out the size of the room since I was bored .No cell phones allowed and they searched your pocket books and your pockets .I had nightmares about it .I felt like we were treated worse than the criminals there who got lunches .We were given a half hour for lunch and the places to eat around the court house were crowded .I never did jury duty after that .2 bathrooms and that was the extent of the place .

Found out our poor baby is allergic to something had to take her to the vet, she had us up all night restless, scratching, pacing, so steroid shot, steroid pills, antibiotic shot, medicated shampoo.
She is feeling lots better now, sound asleep, poor little thing.

The vet said to bath her after all of our ocean walks. Might even be salt water.

I was on grand jury duty for 4 months, the only jury duty I had ever been called for......................two times a week x 4 months driving into down town phoenix hearing one case after another to see if there was enough evidence to send the case to trial. I was there when my hubby died, 18 witnesses.................

are there sand fleas .I know my cousin lived in the keys there and her dog got sand fleas but was also allergic to the salt from the ocean .It dried her skin out which made her itch and even loose some of her hair .One of the reason she moved

Took 27 days to hit her, they checked for fleas or evidence of any, found none, the vet said it was whatever, so now she gets bathed every time we come home. She does not get wet that often, did on monday when she chased a dog into the ocean, but she got bathed that day too, so no clue, but on the road to recovery now.

We will modify as needed to keep her healthy.

The vet told my cousin it was the salt in the sand as her dog would role in it .When she first moved there her dog got sand fleas funny as my cousin got bites from them also .Turned out they were also in the apartment she rented .,she also had to deal with all those little sand frogs .She now lives in Indiana with her hubby .

I can see that, missy rolls around in the sand all of the time, usually wet sand. The vet said she will be ok with a bath every time we come home. We will try that, ow I can put her light weight tshirt type coat on to keep some of it off of her.

If that does not work, we will keep her off the sand, just do sidewalk walks.

The shampoo she said to get has benadryl in it, prescription shampoo. She said to wash with it 3 - 4 times a week. other times to use a good shampoo from the store, like shea butter, honey mix.
