Very strange evening. While having dinner had a "axe in the head" pain hit. Sure sign of a seizure coming on. About 30minutes later a jolting electric like shock to my right leg then pain throughout my right side of body. Cathy immediately gave me Keppra and Advil. Soon I was sound asleep. Few minutes ago wifey roused me to take the rest of my meds and cover me with a blanket. Next thing I knew the burglar alarm is screaming cause wifey opened the back door before realizing the security system was set. Sunny jumped out of my lap, I jumped up and remarkably got to the control panel sans glasses and entered clear code. Wifey is sayin naughty words as the phone rings. ADT calling to confirm intrusion then got the clear code. Wifey laughed, kissed me then went to bed. I am now wide awake with Sunny on my blanket coverd lap in dark room except for the glow from our iPad. AC is on 72 so nice and cool. I wonder if the pesticide that I sprayed this morning could have caused tonight's seizure. All is okay now thank goodness. Time to say nightly prayers and go back to sleep.

Nothing to see here so move along. :)

I am housebound, baby sitting my little girl, she was spayed, had some baby canines removed, (they just would not come out) dew claws taken off, micro chip put in. She is not feeling too good poor little thing. She has gained only 2 ounces since we got her, think she might stay tiny, right now just 4 lbs.

Weather is beautiful, low humidity, 56 right now.

Yes she is on pain meds, the worse of this is no walking (long walks) for 2 weeks, she loves to walk and so full of energy. We are going to have to keep her anchored down, short leash for pee walks.

Honey so wanted to have babies, I kept saying no dear............ we would then have missy and babies, I would not be able to give them to someone not knowing how they would be taken care of. She is too small to have babies safely imho a 6 lb yorkie does a lot better, she is now charting out to stay under 5 per yorkie chart growth weights.

I know what you mean .When my mom raised chi's I hated it when they had to go to there new homes .I could never part with puppies .They are just little fur balls of love and that puppy smell .I remember when I picked up puddles he wrapped his little legs around both my hands as if to say take me home and love me .They get loved and spoiled .I had to keep pee wee and puddles on a really short leash they just don't seem to know there limits .They think they are big dogs . :cheerful: Hard not to feel sorry for poor cute little missy in that pic you have up .Innocent with a little devil in them .

awe, poor baby Missy! I cried my eyes out horribly when I had to fix my Poppy, you would think I must have birthed her! My beloved deceased Sadie had her and she was born under the bed and never had left the house before, I hated leaving her at the vet for two days to be fixed! She did not have our nice warm bed and me to sleep with while at that hospital. Oh I was so happy to have her home again! :)

They did the surgery in the am, she was home in the evening. She does share our bed, but we did not want to possible hurt her, she was so drowsy from the meds. So we put her in her play pen, I pulled it up next to the couch and slept on the couch next to her. She is a lot more awake today, the pain meds keep her calm. It hurts to see them hurt, but in the long run a lot better for her, one we can't have pups now (won't break down lol), and so much healthier when they are spayed, takes away some of the cancers they can get.
And her upper canines where just not leaving, they were anchored hard and her adult canines had come in fully, so they pulled them, only one time under general and 4 things taken care of. The vet and I worked it out to get all done at once.

Stepped out my basement door around 10:00 this morning, and scared the CRAP out of a Great Blue Heron in the process of checking out my turtle pond (a 300 gal. Rubbermaid tub). He repaid me in kind! Spent most of the day trying to persuade him that he didn't want to dine here. Screamed at him, threw things, and then fired a pellet gun into the air on his sixth or seventh visit. Apparently that worked, since I haven't seen him since about 3:30 or so. The pond is netted, but he could still damage the koi by stabbing at them. The turtles are about 9 0r 10",and weigh almost as much as him, so he would have a hard time there. Keeping my fingers crossed, and going to get the lumber for a long-planned gazebo thingy to keep him at a distance. It's always SOMETHING!!!
