The main storm missed our house, my honey says it is pouring near dc.

I am baby sitting one feisty pup, we are going to get a play pen for her. Watching it rain, but not hard, just nice and steady. With all of our plants no way to puppy proof the sun room

Are you going to crate train puppy ? Dogs spend much of their time sleeping so for them it is not a big deal. It is much better then being stuck outside alone.

I just exhaust mine with play time and then potty time and then in the house for there naps .One chi. on the sofa one chi. on the recliner and pitbull on his dog bed .But see a lot of people with small dogs that go to the reuse stores or flea markets and buy playpens this way the puppy can see every thing and have room to move .Plus they are easy to fold up and you can put a wee wee pad in there .Puddles likes to chase cicada's and then bring the disgusting things to me .yucky

She is never outside alone, we have red fox, owls, coyotes, hawks, bears, a tiny thing like her would be gone quick. None of my pups have ever been outside alone.

Nope no crate, I don't like them. We did get a baby play pen for her, net sides, she gets to stay there when it is mommy break time. Ow she is with me. I put her near the back windows when I was mowing the back yard, honey had to move her, she was going crazy trying to get outside to me.....through her play pen, through the windows lol. Barking, whining, I was around 100 feet form the house, but she knew I was out there.

A neighbor fouliously allowed his small dog to stay in their fenced yard one night. Poor fellow became dinner for a coyote.

My late husband, middle of the day, let josey and missy out to pee, missy came back, josey was taken. We had a 6 foot fence around the property. I do not let my pups out of my sight, it is my job to keep them safe, just like the fish. To the best of my ability.

Josey.............I looked for her for weeks, even though I knew I would never find her.
