Yes sissy we are warming up to the 60's yay!!! Sorry for the people who lost the homes. Happens a lot here especially where the Sounder trains run to Seattle. Nobody who takes them can ever get to work. Waste of money having trains running along the Puget Sound w/ cliffs of mud right next to them. No sooner do they get them cleared and away they flow again. What a mess!

Here's the scoop on the one on Whidbey Island........no trains run here tho : http://www.komonews.com/news/local/...Island-landslide-189294171.html?tab=video&c=y

There may have been a dozen waterfront homes that were damaged on Whidbey Island after a 6-foot wall of mud and logs came barreling down a hillside and smashed into them.
Reports say a beaver dam blocking a culvert uphill from the homes broke loose at about 7 a.m., sending a wall of mud and debris tumbling downhill toward Puget Sound near the Clinton ferry terminal.

geeze jw and what next as i hear everything is cut off to those people .On another note gotta ask about pumps question one laguna powerjet verses max flow as I under stand the holes on powerjet casing clogs because they are so small and openings on maxflo are bigger .Also quick connects on both and wonder how they hold up and also says 2900 gph pump uses max watts of 130 and some reports are it uses less and price between the 2 is not much powerjet is 130 dollars and maxflo is 138 dollars .Best price i could find was ebay webbs online 1 year warranty from them and 4 year from laguna .The pump I have now uses 150 watts and works fine and is harbor freight

Power Jet has smaller holes, and comes with the accessories for a fountain. Max-Flo has larger holes, and is meant to move water to filters and waterfalls. You can run a fountain with a Max-Flo, but the chance of the fountain clogging is greater. Newer pumps have yellow name plates on them, as well as a few other yellow pieces (older ones are all black), and use slightly less power ( 124w. compared to 130w., if my memory is working right!) For that you pay a little more. Anything else you need to know? Just ask!

The quick-coupling attaches to any size hose from 3/4" to 1 1/4", and holds up for 5 or more years before needing replacement. ( About $ 3.00 here.) The pumps we are discussing here are made in Italy. Avoid Laguna's Chinese-made pumps, they are a good design, but very poor plastic. The Chinese CAN make strong plastic, but not without using lead, which has now been banned in North America.

 He said we have to wait an hour so the sun can dry up the grass as we need to haul out some black roll of paper stuff and cut it to fit the roof. Then we gunk it all up somehow and all that good stuff. Lastly he will put on the roofing material. Yuck, yuck and double yuck!

Applying good ol' tar paper and thick, gooey, I love it, black tar. Fun, fun, fun! Nothing better than kerosene to cleanup. (tar grin)

I didn't get but a few tiny specks of the gooey stuff on my fingers. I done good! Hubby does all the hard work and I am the grunt and fetch it slave that goes up and down the ladder and holds things in place.
He's getting there and then we have to paint it. That tree is gonna have to be cut down right next to it tho cuz when it grows it will blow back and forth against the shed. How come we didn't cut it down before we built the thing.............no that would have been too easy

Nice shed. I noticed the siding is gapped. Is there a special purpose for the gaps? We envy y'all having all that property.
