They just said a meteorite hit Russia, exploded, caused hundreds of injuries! (not the big one coming) Caused a sonic boom, broken windows, injuries minor luckily

Yes, they say over 500 injured from flying glass and the big one has not yet even passed earth!! But not to worry, they claim it won't hit ....... no one saw this one coming?

I watched all the video's of it on the weather channel ,must have been something to see .I still remember the Edison NJ main gas line explosion back in NJ and how night turned into day for hours and the heat and broken windows .A construction crew hit the line and damaged it and did not know ,I guess they forgot to call dig safe .Only one person killed and she died of a heart attack and lucky because it was near a huge apartment complex that was being added to with new apartments .It was a natural gas line and it burned until they got the line shut down .Lots of melted and broken stuff .Killed my fish in the fountain .

The Landsape Designer/Contractor is meeting with us Saturday afternoon to go over his plan, drawings, costs and contract for upgrading the backyard. The pond will also get a somewhat new look. Excess liner is to be removed. Pond edge stones are to be rearranged for a more natural look then topsoil and ground cover added to certain sections to add eye appeal.

WE COULD HAVE A GUESSING GAME ABOUT THIS PROJECTS TOTAL COST! If anyone wants to participate I will post the entire project task list. Might be fun since we do not have any idea of the dollar amount.

Exciting times ahead.....

You really did a great job Sissy. I did all of the original work including the decks and walkways. That was before my health caught the last train for the coast. Over the past 20 years the yard has suffered so it's time for a redo. I envy you having such a big yard.

I don't any more .3 acres is a lot to take care of for 1 person .I like not having neighbors not to close but the work is getting to me .The front porch and carport I helped build and the guest house and the decks my son and i built .After a few heated discussions on how i wanted it done .My way or the highway and he finally caved . :razz: Then he had to admit i was right ,poor guy .The fence 4th pic I just did this past summer as there were to many close calls with the lawn mower .Rocked the whole front hill too .What a job carrying rocks up the hill to place them .I was a little fussy about placing them .I never learn .

Total of 4 truckloads for this hill and down the whole side of the driveway 2 truckloads between 17 to 20 ton each truck.I love the way it is starting to look .I have remodeled 4 houses in total over the years and only ever owned them for 10 years each .

not here there are houses here that are selling for 20 thousand dollars .This is rural and with gas prices no one wants to live out here .My house is the biggest here and has views but only may get back what I spent so far .House and land was 89 thousand and basement was 15 thousand .I would be lucky to get 150 thousand on only 3 acres .The lots here are between 1 acre and 15 acres .The economy is bad here no jobs ,great for retires as taxes on my house are now a thousand dollars a year and other house on almost 12 acres is now just over 3 hundred dollars a year .
