I just cleaned my siding and gutters today and sprayed some of my pressure treated fence post that turned that silvery grey .I wanted them to look new and fresh since they are building a house across the road .I also resealed my front porch in the last week and all 4 decks ..

Thanks for the info sissy. Could use it on other things tho. We don't have siding but was wondering if any gets on the plants will it hurt them?

I have never had a problem with it hurting my plants ,but I don't have many plants around my foundation except for my tomatoe plants and it has not harmed them as a matter of fact I have more of them than ever this year ,

will any bleach do that job sissy, (never heard of clorax), ime busy painting my house at the moment and might give this a try on the guttering and down pipes when i have finished painting

Yes any bleach should do, Clorox is just the name of a brand over in the states it is made by P&G. Maybe it's called something else over there.

I would do it before painting so you don't discolor paint and any bleach will do it just I use clorox or a commercial bleach as it seems stronger and less watered down

wow the rioting in the uk is really getting crazy, they need to be stoped now before it gets out of hand completely, really shows what a mess this country is in !

Mogsie what are they fussing about over there? Don't keep up a lot on the news but do think I heard something about that lately. I read something about someone being killed by the police unjustly and it went from there to other subjects like unemployment and paid favors etc.

mogsie seems like a lot of countries are a mess because of the economy and lack of jobs or money and with fuel prices going up it does not help .Then those fuel companies announce on the news a record breaking season for them and how profits are up .All this weather here has been causing a lot of problems ,like to much rain where they don't need it and no rain where they do need it and then on top of that all the really unsettled weather causing record breaking hurricanes leaving more with out home, food or jobs ,

the guy who was shot by police was a gangster mark duggan and he was carrying a loaded gun, so it wasnt exactly unjust, this sparked riots in mark duggans home town of tottenham, this soon escalated into mindless violence and criminal activity, the more people seen tv images of what was going on with all the rioters looting the shops they decided they would start and it quickly spread to several cities, with NO political aim but mindless violence, distruction and theft, some are them are saying that they are rioting in despair through employment levels and no future prospects, but when ive been unimployed i didnt go out stealing, it is gang culture that has led to this, the government has been slow to act and the police have been restricted in the lengths they can go to to stop the rioters, so now their is sikh communities that are going out en mass to protect their property and vigilanty groups going out to stop the rioters, and it is going to create big clashes, half of the rioters are youths so if caught by the law they will not go to prison ! in my opinion i think it is a sorry state that has been fuelled by gang culture and immigrants both legal and ilegal , you watch sky news and all you see are gangs of blacks smashing shop windows and robbing people, personally i would put the army on the streets armed to stop the rioters, round up all the immigrants involved and deport them, and our prime minister is useless, our maggie thatcher wouldnt of been putting up with this !!

yes sissy but destroying your local community and burning down shops after looting them isnt going to help the community, these youths are just mindlessly destroying everything, their is soldiers fighting for this country in afghanistan and look what they are doing to this country, it is shamefull

Hey mogsie is it true your police don't carry guns? I though I heard it on the news here once.

There was some guy on the news here saying that basically there is no discipline in schools and the young poor only have one parent where there is no discipline either. Sounds like your government needs to get a bit stricter and show that this won't be tolerated. Bring in the rubber bullets and water cannons and hit em back.
