I am hoping for prayers my oldest son Wally is in the hospital with a severe infection and blood poisoning and he has a high fever so hoping he will be OK .he is in NJ so I may be going up there as soon as I here from the doctor

Thank you and I will have to go up there as doctor and hospital not really telling me how bad it is .I am trying now to get hold of a friend up there to check and see what he can find out .I just hope it just needs antibiotics to treat all they tell me is it is in his leg and they did some other tests and he has a heart murmur and a slightly inlarged heart which i knew as it runs in my family as I have it also .Hate the 9 hour trip though

Colleen, how is your hubby doing? Any updates you can furnish us with? We're all waiting to hear he is recovering well from his surgery, and you are doing well, too. Glad you have your pups to keep you company and help with your stress. Keep us posted as well.

My honey is slowly getting better, he is very week and needed a pint of blood on Saturday. He looks better now, but has a very long road ahead, he's taking "baby steps"!. I had to come home, got to work today and them get things ready for winter, supposed to rain and snow later tomorrow. Going back to see him Thursday after work, will spend Friday with him too. God I miss him like crazy! Can't wait till he is better and comes home! Thanks again for all the prayers and words of encouragement, they helped me get thru this tough time. The new part of the hospital was nice, but now they moved him to the old Foothills side to the "plastic" ward, Poppy misses her dad!

That's great news Sissy. Like others said please be careful going to and from the hospital. Remember, you need rest yourself.

Good to hear that hubby is getting better. It will be a long road ahead but he will make it and when he gets home he will sure have a great welcoming party from the pups!They will give him big wet kisses and Poppy really has a sad look on her face in that photo. I think she really misses him. Give your hubby our best wishes and tell him to behave and eat his meals and get well soon! Hope you don't get snowed in there Colleen..............geez, I can't believe you are getting snow already. We are still in the warmth :blueflower:

who is getting snow already ?? we just have snow in the scottish highlands, hey there is a big hullabaloo over here about fox news messing up with a car chase and accidently screening the guy shooting himself live on tv, over on your side of the water !, not that i watch the news much, its all bad ! ive just invested in a new lever arm coffee machine, la pavoni, any of you guys used one of these, its my first time so going to have fun learning,
