Thank you! She really was beyond excited, it was a reach so she wasn't really counting on it. And then we had to wait for the financial aid letter, and when that came in it blew us away.CONGRATS TO YOU BOTH

Good god, looks like a prisonnope can't stand it any time of the year this time of year is just as crazy with traffic as is the summer but it's called the trades parade. As all the trades are working hard to get get the new builds and remodeling done before the stupid blue bloods arrive. Whats that why did i say stupid ? well what do you call someone who drives a lamborgini sport ute to the grocery store and parks between two cars like common folk. this photo is an incomplete build on billionare row in south hampton.Just because you made lots of money at one thing doesn't mean your good at everything. Money can't buy good taste. View attachment 167474

Amen. There is a lot of that in the greater metro Atlanta area. It's making it impossible for hardworking young people to find or afford a small (or even medium sized) first home.nope can't stand it any time of the year this time of year is just as crazy with traffic as is the summer but it's called the trades parade. But actually the last two weeks have been a whirlwind with my daughter's college decisions coming in. And they all revolve around being near you in CT. She got into Trinity and Connecticut College and then the big surprise was Vassar. She has committed to Vassar, they gave an unbelievable scholarship. So you will see us passing by as we go to Poughkeepsie several times over the next few years!
thats another story all together, black rock and other money markets are responsible for that , they should be banned from single and even two and three family markrets they are responsible primarily of buying everything sight un seen.Amen. Thank you!
Thank you! These are exciting days, she has worked hard to get to this point so it is nice to see her be rewarded this way.Congratulations to your daughter, her next life begins!
Chiming in rather later here, but Wow, that is one lovely pond! Looks great against the beautiful wooded backdrop too.Hard to believe but it has been one year this weekend since I filled the pond and turned on the pump. I survived, lol. Been quite the transformation in a year.

Thank you, really appreciate that. We have been very happy with it, rough winter though especially compared to last winter. But the fish survived.Chiming in rather later here, but Wow, that is one lovely pond! Looks great against the beautiful wooded backdrop too.
I'm glad they all survived! I'm amazed at how much having flowing water adds to the enjoyment of our garden. Even my stay-indoors Large Half spends a lot more time sitting out on the patio now (at least when the weather's nice; at the moment we're in the midst of a dust storm). It just adds so much more than one might expect, even changing the way the light bounces around the garden at different times and different seasons. Getting to grow plants water-hungry plants like impatiens and peace lily just adds to the fun!Thank you, really appreciate that.
