Love your blooming lilies sissy and boy that passion vine is going to envelope everything around you pretty soon if not careful. Aggie is looking happy and love your palm tree by the bridge. Is it a windmill palm?

Just saw one of those large white hibiscus growing in front of a house, so that means they most likely will survive here.

Actually that is a silver fan palm and is cold hardy .Thank you and believe that passion flower just got cut way back a month ago I keep pulling tons of the thing out .Aggie is spoiled and so is Bert and she is a handfull .I took her down 2 strawberries and cut them up and she kept nudging Bert away from them when I tried to give him some .I gave her a couple of blueberries I picked off my bush and she goes nuts when she gets fresh fruit .I have to laugh after she is done she swims down in the pond and rolls over and shows her belly off .I guess she is proud of her weight .LOL

Hibiscus survive here addy. I have two bush ones that I'm gonna turn into trees when they get bigger and one short one that is a common swamp mallow that gets big pink swirl blooms on it. That one I cover w/ something to protect it from too much rain here. It survived so I guess I did it right. I have to wait till August tho before they will bloom here it look like. Oh well when everything else is slowing down these plants will fill in w/ their beauty :bouncycig:

sissy what is your hardiness zone? I have a hardy Chinese windmill palm here by my pond........it's tiny but it survived through 3 winters so far. It's two friends didn't make it. I guess when they are small you have to protect them in winter for several yrs.

I fill it with peanut butter, grains, cereals, nuts, dried fruit, do a peanut butter mix. The birds love it and the squirrels do to.

I protect them with extra mulch and black plastic bags .Anursery gave me that tip back in NJ ,the black plastic picks up alot of heat from the sun and keeps the ground warmer this one says to zone 5 I bought 3 of them at home depot .The last 3 they had .I was only going to buy one but the manager was out there and saw I was looking at them and said you take them all you can have them for 20 dollars for all 3 and they were regularly 19.99 each .I took them.Love when they want to get rid of stuff and I'm there
