Everything is finally starting to grow around my yard, not the grass just yet, but the bulbs and irises and sedum and daffodils, etc. are all up and some are blooming.
I have a ton of hyacinths that are up and ready to bloom, I'm hoping no more freezing mornings to zap them again. Today it got up to 65, about 7 degrees higher than predicted, which was wonderful!

ooh, bloomers! always promising! After a cold spring some 70's and 80's stuff has pollen all over, tender tropicals perking, even Golden Club has doing some catch up to do

Every day a few more new blooms, Mostly Louisiana Iris and dutch Iris right now. Water lilies have all been replanted and most have leaves on the surface. The Lotus's all have leaves on the surface and the day lilies are just starting to send a few blossom shoots up, that should be a great show in a few more weeks.

I got bombarded with a horrendous storm that was very short lived, thank goodness. You know, the kind that sends you to the basement, and I'm not a chicken! I swear it was close to tornado force, straight line winds, looked like rain was not going to hit the ground until 2 counties over. LOL
Well, shucks, failing all pic downloads again this morning. Wonder what's up with that? They look like they are downloading pretty fast, then it shows upload failed. Same thing happened last night. :sad:
Holy cow, Larkin, are those all lotus along the edge of your pond? That will be a gorgeous display! I need to get the plants I got from you outside. They are all still in the basement under lights.
Andy, I know your Golden Club has been up a little while. If my plant/bulb whatever it is has not sent up leaves or any shoots yet, but is firm, is it still ok, or did it die? If you think it died, I'd really like to try another one. Save one for me, and send me your link, please. :razz: I've watched it religiously, cared for it last year, keeping any algae or spreading plants out of it's area, so am still hoping it will come back to life. I would have thought if it was dead, it would be mushy.

Ian did a server change yesterday and said it would take over 24 hours before all would work properly, I would think your problems are related to that. :compute:

I just had a bit of a problem trying to post............I could type into the reply area but when I hit reply no luck so I clicked the More Reply Option down in the lower rt hand corner and then hit post and it worked and then I went and cleared my history and all is back to normal now.

Thanks, guys! I was not able to post photos again this evening, so maybe by morning it will be fixed completely. I figured it was something like that, but had not seen anyone say for sure.

hehehe ... just read your post to my hubby and he gave some funny eye rolls ... I think he was implying he knows the feeling ... geesh.... and all I did earlier was ask what HE had planned ... he tells me, and I say ohh never mind ... being the good husband, he asks what I need ... nope, not me this time, I wanted to try someplace else to get more 55 gallon barrels for HIM .... he says what that really means is hey a**hole, get going on your projects LMAO ...

Spring here is just non exsistant today..... not a single leaf yet on the trees, things seem late this year, and more snow on the way too.
