Oh colleen popy will always be around to watch over you I have had that happen here with harley ,hunter and king arthur .I swore I heard them walking and even swore I saw them .Even hubby said the same thing .There is a big difference in the sound of a chihuahua walking around and a pitbull .My son was here and he woke up one night to a sound and swore he saw harley ,which was his dog .You can't mistake a white albino pitbull for anything else .He said he saw her eyes at first .You could never make that mistake with her eyes .They love you so much they watch over you and want to let you know they are fine

I had that happen with my very old dog Lady, and then with Sadie, when they passed away as well,
Some people say when they first pass away the "veil" between worlds is very thin and that is why it happens, or something like that. My hubby dug a very deep big hole in back yard yesterday and we had a funeral service for her. It was very beautiful service my hubby had for her. We had beautiful music of birds singing and forest sounds, and a candle and fresh roses. Hubby put two real silver dollars on her eyes so she could pay the "toll master" and wrapped her up so nice. There is getting to be lots of silver in my back yard....

I am taking a week off next week to get things done around here... Going to work for myself for a change and actually get new liner in the old top pond and move the two biggest and oldest Koi up to bigger top pond. Then I will show everybody how I glue the rocks to side of pond wall to hide the landscaping ties. It will look fresh and new again.

Looking forward to seeing your new project and tell us what kind of glue and all the specifics you do to make everything just the way you want it.

Can't wait to get started. I use the Big Gap filler from hardware store. Will show you how.

My boss loves me cause I work extra hard. She gave me two lobster tails today so I will have them tonight. Last month she bought me lovely 20 dollar flower bowl. I feel so lucky. Plus I got a scheduled to work holiday ( double time and a half) over Easter. See hard work pays off!

Sorry to hear about Poppy. We lost our Rosie last September, and it still hurts. Good thoughts your way.

BTW...your tomatoes in your green house look great. Mine are just starting to get their first true leaves, but I got them started late.

Colleen I am so sorry to hear about your sweet Poppy. I know you will miss her.

Your fairy creations are so wonderful! You could go into business for yourself and make a fortune! I see the prices they charge for those types of things in the nursery gift shops! You are so creative!

It's so easy to make. Just a few very old DRY and well weathered sticks and twigs and a cheap glue gun. Anybody can do this and I got my friend into making fairy stuff too. Once you have "real" fairy stuff made with Real wood you won't want the plastic stuff as it just does not look right for a fairy. Fairies only gather sticks and twigs that have fallen natural as they do not hurt the trees.

Thanks again everybody for all your wonderful comments. Poppy was so special and hubby was so devastated as well. I cried so hard and could not control my tears, they fell like rain. Life goes on and I have to stay strong for the two other puppies still left. Poppies brother Bear is the same age but he looks so good, he never got any lumps or tumers like Poppy did and he still runs hard like a horse.

I will still shed tears when I think of the pups we have lost, @Colleen. We get so fond of them and their sweet, sweet spirits. We've always had at least two dogs and each one of them has mourned the loss of their doggie sibling right along with us. Extra treats and scratches behind the ears for your other pups, as their hearts are surely broken, too!

Yes it is good to relax by the pond for sure, but as usual I have big plans. First I need to get new liner in pond. Going tomorrow to get supplies and by Wednesday I plan to put new liner in that one old top pond where the two biggest oldest Koi are. Then by Friday I plan to build new fence in very back of yard.
