Happy days Colleen! I'm sorry those darn deer munched on your plants, we have em too.

I love your little stream...did you have that last year? Could you grow phlox in you zone? It's a pretty perennial ( I think it's deer resistant ) and would look very pretty in the rocks along your pond and stream.....it's a Spring bloomer :)

Yay the guppies are back in business! Sorry about the deer. Better get your hubby to pee around that area as I hear they don't like that but then who would :D

I just love phlox and have a nice smelly white bush right by pond that's barely poking out of ground, and several other different types all over front yard.
Stream is from last year but by mid summer it's so overgrown with other plants that it's hard to see them.

The deer are bad in spring as the winter can be long so they are very hungry. By the time the rest of the flowers come back there will be so much that the deer tend to move on to other things. They do trim the flowers here and there for a short while in spring. Thankfully the flowers I planted should make a comeback as they just ate the tops mostly.

Dreary wet cold spring day, non stop rain and cold front has moved in so greenhouse is full and bursting with plants. Usually I set most of the plants outside for the day and then move them back inside at night. Today they will just have to stay put as it is cold and there is no sun out anywhere in sight. Dark heavy clouds, zero percent chance anything will dry out today!

Cold and pouring rain here too Colleen. You have your nice green house to go to for some warmth and enjoyment. You are so creative!

Oh so sorry to hear your dear sweet Poppy passed away :(

So sorry about Poppy.

How often do you have to replant your fairy gardens because the plants overtake them?

Thank you all for your kind words and support during this difficult time. Losing my sweet Poppy was very hard.
Strange but early this morning I swear I heard Poppy walking around and John swears he saw her out of "the corner of his eye" walking too. John says her spirit is still here at home where she was born. Poppy's mother Sadie helped her cross over to heaven
