OK, I found a sieve. Looks like a really good idea. I may have just the device that would work for this. It is a DE filter that is left over from the pool. But, it also looks like a easy DIY project as well.

I'm intrigued on how a DE filter could be re-purposed into a sieve. I like reusing pool filters.
