Oh how sweet, little babies to watch grow. Will she be ok w/you continuing to take pix cuz it would be neat to watch them grow. If you thing that will disturb or scare her away then that's ok.
That is the prettiest flowering Christmas cactus I have ever seen and it hangs down, cool!

Your pond and area around it is coming alive now so nicely, it's beauuuuuuuuuuuuutiful

Wow, that Christmas Cactus is the most beautiful I've ever seen. Great reminder of your dad, too.
OK, I don't think I recognize your ponds anymore, Addy! I thought the bog was on the left and the big pond on the right, and now I'm seeing 3 ponds connected and what looks like the bog on the right/top of pic! Did you change that much, or am I losing it ... again?! :(

Nope, serious, really I am! OK, looked again. The bog is at the top of the pic, so I'm going to assume the big pond is in front of it. But, I sure don't remember seeing those 2 what look like separate but connected ponds in the top left corner of the pics.
I do see lots of irises blooming in there! Soon she will be showing us some up close pics of her pretty flowers. :)

lol ce, the ones on the left of the picture sm pf = small preform, in = water in then flows to 300 gallon lotus tank then flows to old preform now liner pond = lp the flows out into bp big pond sp = the lowest stream pond which flows to the right then water falls into the bp around a 3 foot water fall. The other stock tank 1000 gallon is to the right of the bp, but not in the picture. Usually in the summer it is hard to see the water bodies, lotus and lilies take over. The small ponds have very slow flow, they do get some algae, which floats, which is great the bees use it as a landing pad to get their water without drowning I was watching them do it yesterday. They need lots of water for the hive.

Got to run honey has a appt maybe we will have net there, 5 hour appt.............. hope this helps ce!

Yes, thanks for the descriptions, Addy. I guess I've seen more pics of your ponds from above the stock tank, than from this angle. At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL Also, I thought the fence was at the bottom of your yard, but maybe it's not? Where is the stream that goes down the hill from this pic's perspective ... I think it's to the right ... right? :)

We have an exterior fence and a interior fence the interior fence does like a curve around the yard. edges around the pond and on the east up to the house, on the west it goes straight.

the stream would actually be at the bottom of the previous picture heading up the hill towards the house, from the small stream pond.

Here is what the stream looks like, during the summer you don't see it well. Still a lot of deer damage I have not repaired, waiting to see if the plants come back. You can see it waterfalling off the deck.

The pond at the bottom of the stream is the one you see in the other picture. There is another small pond right behind that ever green to the right The water leaves the bottom stream pond and heads to the left (in the picture) to the large pond.

Wow, Addy, congrats on the babies ...and getting such a clear pic of them!!! And, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for baby wild rabbits. They are adorable! Every time I see your carnivorous plants, and now in bloom, I soooo want to have some! Never see them around here for sale, though.

That was in the preform with some string algae, a lily, tons of tad poles and crystal clear water. I have found fry in the big pond, the preforms the stock tank, need to check out the deck pond now. They seem to be everywhere this spring. The water is still only 51 degrees.

Congrats addy and I am surprised that I could see them!
Lots of stuff coming alive now w/ your lovely flesh eating plants to the baby bunnies. Oops hope the bunnies don't get too close to those plants. Your Anacharis is doing great too! I've got some growing in a tub and every once in awhile I throw a bunch in the fish pond for the piggies

Hi Addy how did you make the planters, if that is what they are? I love this idea for the lilies but don't know if it will take up to much room in my 1000 gal.
