Yes - it is lined. The muddiness comes from construction. There is a very huge rock "island" which was lowered into the water by way of a bobcat and chain and two brave strong people in the pond trying to place it. The bobcat almost fell in !! And I think all the stones, drystacked wall, and edging - plus small stones scattered around were not clean. I envisioned this wonderful clear new pond. I guess it's going to take a number of days to clear. But today I think I need to put in the test fish. I'm just hoping that the cloudiness isn't going to be detrimental. I'm worried about the fish being in the holding tanks this long on their hunger strike.
