you can do starchy, just controlled amounts. Look at the using your hand to give you an idea of what amount to eat.@addy1, thanks for the info. I believe someone (maybe you) posted it before. I'm definitely going to give this a more serious try. Problem is that non starchy veggies don't taste good!
He used to eat one of those huge potatoes, we now buy the small red, one is more than enough. Eats sweet potatoes now.
Fiber fiber fiber, add beans, freaka, quinoa, brown rice, lentils to every meal..........weight falls off.
Lots of veggies, he loves them now..........lol veggies with every meal, even breakie sometimes.
We still have ice cream just occasional, same with chocolate bars. No sodas, no fake sugars except monk fruit or stevia, both plant based.
