Your right, it is just this contractor builds the form then installs the re-barb. We ran vertical bars today every 30" then ran turn outs from the sides to the patio form to help reinforce the sides every 36" two runs of vertical re-barb. Tonight we decided to go ahead and run mesh in the wall all the way around for even more reinforcement. The contractor isn't cutting any corners but he does have some different ways of doing things than I expected. Today we just worked on the re-barb and forming for the patio, Tomorrow we pour the walls! Yippee! Oh, and found out today I STILL didn't buy a big enough piece of liner. With the finished forms we were 2.5 feet short on the sides. Thank goodness my dealer needed to do a seam training so that EDPM would warranty the seams. He contacted the distributor and they have someone to certify him and myself in seaming, At no cost! That was a relief. They had enough liner in stock and the kit and the extra liner ran $250, A lot better than the $875 they wanted for a new liner. Also the distributor guarantees the seam for the life of the liner. So I guess I'll get to see how that works. Must say though I'm really nervous of putting a seam in that big of a pond!I was assuming those were the forms for the side walls around the pond, and the cement gets poured between the cavity between the plywood???
Usually it's easier to form up one side and bend and install the rebar to fit, then install the other side of the form, but maybe I'm not following what's going on.
