I saw the parents putting hair gel on it...............

so so cute! They don't leave the little one exposed for any length of time eat and cover back up

I noticed that they keep it covered a lot. It's still pretty cold there in the 30's now.

So that one must have been injured in order for it not to go back to the wild right?

Yes. I'm not sure what happened to it, though. I remember them saying it happened not long after it left the nest.

Darn then the survival rate is bad for them. I sure wish they could do something about that power pole.
It's pretty windy there on the nest right now. The parent bird is always busy straightening up that nest. It's feathers are getting all ruffled by that wind.

Parent just got off nest a minute ago and I see two hatched babies now. One got fed but not the other. Guess the other isn't quite ready for food yet.

Yeah, they wait before the feed the newborns. Second baby hatched around 8am central time.
Eagles should get some nice weather coming up. They usually get the same weather I do, so they should see 50°s and 60°s on the way
