When I had my pond in the front flowerbed I had this little fellow come up for a drink.

This here was taken on a lookout on the Talimena Scenic Drive in S.E. Oklahoma. This is part of the Ouachita National Forest.

Just a tiny little Butterfly Weed plant, but its already doing its job. Found two of these on it today:

Headed out to Nicholson Wildlife Refuge today.

I've been there a couple times and every time the place is loaded, LOADED, with Leopard Frogs. The land itself is honestly not that great, but could be if someone was looking after it. It has a nice pond that you can hardly see, and off in the distance are some Blue Heron nests which is a really cool sight. Other than that its just a straight boring path. I did get to see this beautiful bird though.

Little did I know at the time that this exact plane was making an emergency landing at Milwaukee's airport. Luckily it was nothing too dangerous. The hydraulics went out on the refueler boom and it was manually lifted so they could land.

I was thinking of starting a thread and I have such a variety of different shots I figured this was a great thread to share a few. Our Koi club took a trip to Minnowman's house to see the water lily's.

Meet Mike, The LSU Mascot. We have been working at the stadium for the last two weeks and I finally got to see him outside in his pen. Ok so the stadium isn't very nature oriented but it was cool to walk inside and be the only person in the stadium.

How's this for a little different. This is Harley, she has a 6' Louisiana Mud snake. This snake was caught not far from my house and I had never seen one. they came by to show me. Could't finish the pots out tonight without at least posting one picture of Harley and her new friend.
