I wish I had a better way of taking pics. My phone just doesn’t take good wildlife pics. I have 3 kinds of woodpeckers but now I’m not sure What is what. Lol

what are you feeding woodpeckers?
I have suet available (their favorite flavor seems to be the peanut one) as well as a large 'bug cake' which is made up of mealworms & sunflower chips held together by gelatin. The woodpeckers also love whole peanuts, so we usually add some of those to the seed mix in the platform feeder.

Me, I have a suet block hanging, the small woodpeckers seem to like that, the larger ones love the shelled peanut feeder I hung up.
bluejaysn nuthatches, woodpeckers, chickadees, titmice all love picking out peanuts.

They love suet. I also put out Fruit and Nut bird food. Another of their favorites.

Decided to take a snowy hike this morning. Starting to get tired of winter, so this may be the last wintry hike I take this season. It was a nice one, though!

Of course, I had to visit the new prairie restoration again (seeded in mid-December).

Is there such a thing as deer feed?

Well, they sure like to feed on my young trees I planted a couple years back. Every summer, the trees grow above the cage height, and every winter the deer eat them back down. Not sure my trees will ever get any taller.
