My native garden is 10 years old today! Here's how it started. Just 64 square feet.

As many of you know, I expanded quite a few times over the years. Mostly using seed I collected from the original section. I lost count, but I believe I have over 2,000 square feet today. Maybe even 2,500! Here's some of my favorite photos.

I looked up those spiders w/spines like that and says they are Spiney Orb Weavers. No idea which one that is tho. Cool looking :cool:

Someone told me it looks like a Starbellied orb weaver and I think that's what it is. First time I've ever seen one.

We have gardens and flowers everywhere. Mostly native stuff.

Large fields of bergamot blooming etc, all planted for the bees I used to raise

No butterflies, minimal hummingbirds, but we do have native bees , bugs enjoying the feast.
