It is a simple matter of plumbing it. Keep in mind, the return is gravity feed, so it must be higher than the water level and slope downhill all the way. 3/4" feed from the pump to the filter and 2" return lines.
jrladd said:Hey guys! Filter is working great so far! Starting to see some gunk inside it. So that's good.
I found a local place to get stones. $40 bucks for a "carload". not too bad.
Any suggestions on how to finish the edge off? I am leaning toward a few more loads of stone and just have stone all the way down. Another option is to build a small retaining wall around the outside and fill the middle with mulch or pea gravel.
Need some opinions as I am having a hard time deciding.
Thanks!

I come out of it with 2" - then turn down 4' - then i turn horizontal and i go 30' to the other end of my pond , i turn back up at my water fall...
as long as you keep the filter out let a few inches higher than the water fall it will work
All my horizontal pipe runs slightly up hill.... because i drain it bye my filter when i need too
PS3 said:I tested out my filter today it went well. the drum took a while to fill but once it got full
it pumped well the water fall pipe was flowing nice then when the drum full
i hooked up the hose to the down pipe and it came out the top and it did not stop.
