It is, better than just sitting watching hubby fade away.

I walk 3 plus miles every day starting at 530am. Do three shifts. Oldest than middle, than youngest and injured Emma. (Short walk). Her surgery is Wednesday.

Much love to you @addy1 - as I've told you before, we've watched my brother go through this same slow fade. The long goodbye they call it, and for good reason. You do what you have to do for yourself - get yourself a dozen more if that's what keeps you going! I can't imagine a better life for any of them, either. Dogs are pack animals by nature - you've given them a true pack!

Those pups make me happy just seeing their sweet faces - I can only imagine how much fun they are in person!

Thanks @Lisak1, the six under two play constantly. Taking turns at picking on each other. Watch them more than I watch the TV.

When too hot to go out into the play area, they play chase across the room.
