well arthur just wants to lick him and pee wee just wants to bark at him .Puddles did growl at arthur at first and then when he realized he meant no harm he was fine with him .But pee wee is playing mr tough guy for now .Puddles is smaller than pee wee and a lot skinnier but that won't last in my house .I guess pee wee just wants to protect his daddy .He keeps looking for puddles though .I figure a week or 2 and they will be fine .

Hey Sissy, This fellow came wondering out of the woods yesterday, He was hungry and covered in mud and matted bad. Got him a bath and took him to the vet to make sure he was in good health and checked to see if he was micro chipped since he didn't have a collar. Put out flyers, contacted local humane societies in both parishes we are in and close to, contacted all the vets. so far no one has called about him. I've been calling him Cujo. Weighed in at a whopping 156#! He can look straight over the kitchen counter standing flat footed and is taller than me, 6'2" when he stands on his back feet. Gentle as a Teddy bear and is getting along with everyone. I've been talking to the wife and if no one claims him we may consider keeping him ourselves. Just a wee bit bigger than puggles, which BTW is a cutie!

Sissy -- how old is Puddles? He's a cutie -- congrats!

Larkin -- hard to believe someone wouldn't make an effort to reclaim a dog as nice as that. He looks very comfy, safe, and secure! Hope you get to keep him and that he doesn't turn out to be a Cujo.

I looked through the papers she gave me and what a shock he was born August 19th and that was my moms and my mother in laws birthday .Wondering about that ,is it fate .Like pee wee was born the day my dog Hunter passed away .He looks like part mastiff larkin .Geeze he could join you for dinner all he needs is a plate .He must have been raised around cats if he is not bothered with him .He would be great protection ,I know I would think twice :cheerful:

Nice looking dog Larkin and hope you get to keep him. If he was mine tho I'd sure be missing him! Don't get too attached too soon or you will be sad if the owners come looking for him. Maybe he was too expensive for them to feed and he got dumped. Darn people do that nowadays ya know?
