sissy you asked about the stone , they are paving slaps from a company called "marley" costing around £5.00 each sterling, guess $ 7.50 dollar but worth saving for just to get detail and colour scheme right.

hi cometkeith, no, get cold but flow keeps ice free plus before we laid liner we used roofing insulation called "celtex" around sides and base with soft sand underneth. so this year with filters and waterfalls fingers crossed no freeze ups. got early photos of last december pond almost frooze up but flow and fountain kept things going and photogenic will post soon.

Sorry, I tried to rotate your photos and found they became invalid files when I did. In order to edit them, I had to delete first before re-loading.
Can you make sure they are right side up next time please?

its made from railway sleepers three and a half foot above ground and just over a foot below ... long story about stroppy but it started when my daughter was a teenager :cool:
