Ha! Love it. My Larger Half says he gets a cramp in his leg from pressing an imaginary break pedal when I drive (and I always drive, as I'm the worst passenger on the face of the planet).

And I definitely identify with the bit about needing four hands! But your pond looks great, so your two hands are doing some pretty good work!

Lol he sounds like my mom when my dad drives!
Thank you Yshahar the pond is a labor of love. I do enjoy tinkering with it. I wish I would've had more energy and taken my time digging it, I would have done a few things differently lol.

Newbie pond owner/builder here. I have approximately a 15'x13'x4.5' diy pond. I have 5 koi, 4 shubunkin, 20 comets, minnows and 9 blue Gil? It has a waterfall, bog filter and diy 55gallon filter. It is still a work in progress, changing thinks all the time lol!
Welcome- nice size pond

Yes I do have too many fish, I have been trying to rehome the koi and some comets. I am wanting more shubunkin. I also have a black moor, and 2 orange ones like the black moor I forgot what they are called

The bog filter is the black trough thingy( not big enough but I used what I had) I added the marginal type area recently and the 55 barrel filter just 2 days ago and it's already clearing up the algae

Yes, it is a sun screen 15' wide over the center (well almost center lol). The pond gets full afternoon sun so this was the quickest option for now, until I decide on the more permanent gazebo type set up.
When you get the pond balanced the sun screen should not be needed . unless you use it for heat reflection

Obveously your not a first year pond looks nice and mature.
I do question the food. The fish aren't devouring it. Makes me wonder if its a good food or not. I do spend on the fish food but as you may have seen in last months closeup photos They will come up out of the water for a pellet. Yours aren't exactly fighting over it. And the amount looks like a awful lot. So is barging food a real bargain. I could be way off maybe it's something else going on.

Very nice and clear and fish look good! Glad you were able to figure out the vids. Looks like the fish are gobbling up the food to me :)
