Like I said, I have a strong mind and stomach, and you need both, plus an "open mind"! I have heard that it has cured many many people of many problems..... if I ever get desperate and sick, my will to live is very strong.... I would Try Anything then!!!! Ha ha ha

Someone has to take care of my pond, so it may as well be me... in the future if they have "high meat" served in some fancy restaurant, all "dressed up nice on a plate", and served with the right sauce.... you never know.....

Good Lord, that Sister is driving me today!!! She bugs me all day long to see if there are any fresh young coconuts at the super market where I work, then she just called to to complain that she does not like them cause they are from VietNam, and they taste "funny" to her!! Like it is my problem... Not even my department! I told her Coconuts are like apples, they are slightly different in each country, then she swore at me and hung up the phone one me just now!!

Good grief that woman is Starving To Death and so skinny these days, everything makes her sick, and I think most of it is in her HEAD!!!!

All I know is that the real "head cheese" is some sausage made from animal brain matter.... yuk! Even I draw my limit!

If the high meat did not taste bad but good I would try it. I am the one in this household that eats all the old stuff in the fridge that hubby won't touch. I am still alive and have never gotten sick from any of it. Give me some hard drink and I might just about do anything :biggrin:

Hog's Head Cheese / Head Cheese

Found all over the south. Not cheese as generally defined.

Never had it but some folks love it. Especially older generations. Back in my youth it could be found in every country grocery store. Don't know about now.

So what is hogs head cheese?

That's is funny... ha ha ha, we have to get together some day in the future before we get really old and die, and have a strong drink and a good laugh!! Day off today, it is only noon hear and my sister is driving me to drink!! I am craving a glass of dark red wine already!!! Too early, it will make me sleepy and I need to get back to work....

You do those nice gingerbread houses every year and they always look so nice and festive. Too pretty to eat tho! You can have your drinky now Colleen as it's getting dark now. Chill out and relax in the warmth of you cozy home and sit by the side of your dear hubby who will comfort you from your head ache of a sister :biggrin:
