Ok so I think I learned something about sugar free substitutes. A doc on the radio said if you eat sugar free fake sugar stuff your brain still thinks you are eating real sugar so it sends a message to release some kind of a chemical maybe insulin from your pancreas and you end up w/ too much of the insulin in your system causing big problems to your body somehow. Does anyone here know anything about this idea? And is there any kind of sugar substitute that your brain won't think is sugar and won't send out that message to your pancreas to shoot out more insulin? Not sure I heard everything exactly right but this is what I captured :cheerful:
