Well I thought I posted this earlier. Got three goldfish put them into the pond and........next day gone. Well so I thought. Since then I have caught a glimpse of two of them. I'm not sure if I still have three or just two. There are so many plants in it to combat the gloop you cant see the fish, Hay Ho.

I bet they are all still there, just loving the hiding spots you provided!

Just an update on the green gloop. Since I added the fish it seems to have gone. I don't know if its the fish, the bog filter or the weather but for a few weeks now clear pond. Its probably all of the above but certainly since the fish were added its been night and day. Thanks for all the advice, fingers crossed.

We call this Garden PONDS. most people have never swam in a POND. NOT SO MUCH BECAUSE FROGS TURTLES AND SNAKES LIVE THERE but because Algae slime and muck do. You do have to be a bit twisted enjoying stepping in a deep deposit of muck and have it squish between your toes. But that is a pond.
Though hard to see clearly you look to have some healthy algae growing. If it starts to take over the pond then attention and a fix of some sort maybe needed

Not so much anymore, since the fish were added it seems to have gone. No more string algae. I haven't had to remove any in weeks. (As opposed to daily). We don't get anything as exotic as turtles snakes and frogs here. So the only things that are living in the pond are the plants and the fish. The garden birds like it as it gives them somewhere to go for a drink. The water in the pond is as clear as a bell. There still is a little algae, mostly on the water soldiers but I suppose that will give the fish something to eat.

Lol I have swam in mine, wade in it all the time, at least chest deep.

Only summer when warm and toasty.
