I would compare Zimmerman's history and Trayvon's history anyday. Good luck at attempting to make the case that Zim was more likely to start the fight, which is possible if ya choose to take the prosecution's approach of manipulating evidence.

In 2005, at the age of 21, Zimmerman was charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest, after shoving an officer while a friend of Zimmerman's was being questioned about underage drinking. The charges were reduced, then dropped when Zimmerman entered a pre-trial diversion program. Also in 2005, Zimmerman's ex-fiancée filed a restraining order against him, alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman requested a reciprocal restraining order. Both orders were granted.

Again, history was flat out irrevelant as described by the jury instructions and the constant rejections by the judge to introduce any history.

We will never know the exact charges since the judge would not allow the exact documented criminal history, which the defense team had, of Trayvon to be revealed. The exact moment the defense team opened the portfolio to share this evidence then the Judge flat out denied him and told the jury to disregard.

Who cares? A persons behavior is surely not defined by what they were formally charged with. Countless murders, assaults, rapes, thefts, etc happen every day for which charges are never brought. I suppose this means they didn't happen?
