Very nice. Chucky likes how the Defense lawyer was chewing out the media and that concluded the media asking him questions. Do not see that happen enough at all.

This is the message and reaction I am not hearing. Quite sad. I honestly believe nobody learned a lesson from this. A shame the kid had to waste his life for nothing.

This was a self defense case from the very begining and the folk trying to make it more than this then they have some serious soul searching to do for not using this as a teachable moment such as described by my bolded text above.

Just finished watching all the after verdict chit chat.

I like what the defense team West said.

"WE proved the case for the prosecution. We proved Zim not only not guilty but innocent" Something like that.

Also the State now has to pay a good portion of the defense expenses. That's a good start. Now someone needs to pay George Zimmerman to overcome his ruined life.

I don't know if any of you have ever been on a jury but I have (murder trial). It's a pretty neat system that 10 people have to all agree and the prosecution needs to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. For one you can't discuss anything until both sides rest and you start your deliberations. It's much different sitting in a jury having to make a decision at the end than listening to the media analyzing everything during the trial. The jury I was in had a lot of people screaming at each other, but we finally came back with a guilty verdict. In this case the prosecution didn't prove enough for a guilty verdict according to the fact finders (jury).

Zimmerman had zero history of initiating assaults on his record in the past. If so, I gaurantee you that the Prosecution would have been allowed to talk all about it due to everything else he was allowed to get away with. I guess a fella not having an assault history means it is reasonable to call him a malicious thug.

Ironicly, the kid was the one with the actual history of being a thug, that is initiating assaults, yet even though the judge told the jury to disregard and forced the defense to not release this documentary evidence. Glad the jury saw through these shenanigans.

Even though Zimmerman is the guy that managed and counseled troubled black youth, who have had or still have fathers in prison and absent, so to help these youth to not do what Trayvon has done, Zim is still the guy being called the malicious thug. Robert Zimmerman talks all about this on the Piers Morgan show, but yet folk call Zimmerman the thug.

While it was at night, the kid circled Zimmerman's car while he was in it, meaning the kid was essentially challenging him, then the kid continued on to lurk around on folk's front yard as testified by witnesses, and, with the past history of all the house robberies within just that week, this persuaded Zimmerman to view the kid's actions as susipisous activity, that of describing the actions of a punk.

Yet, folk some how distort this to view Zimmerman is a gun waving thug. There is zero evidence, of anything by witness testimonial, that indicates Zimmerman was the thug in this confrontation.

If all it takes for someone to be called a thug is being a conceal gun carrier, calling a kid a punk due to the kid's suspicious activity, and simply just getting out of the car to make sure the kid was not up to to no good, then do not go out at night, lurking around, creating suspisious activity.

Police can not arrest someone without probable cause and when there is a lack of evidence to disprove self defense, that as proven by the witness testimonial. If the Police still arrested Zimmerman without proper evidence and file charges with obvious lack of evidence to disprove self defense, then the Police department would have been sued for unlawful arrest

Yet, due to political pressure, the mob, and race baiters and gun haters, the Police Chief got fired and the media created a steroid shot to give the momentum for this case. One media network going as far to modify audio so that Zim would be viewed as a racist. There was also a group created by the judicial system of government, called the Community Relation Servce (CRS), that is paid by tax dollars, after the naive comments by the POTUS, this group was influenced and told by judicial executives to organize and support the community to be against Zimmerman.


I hope Zim turns around to sue that media network. I hope Zime turns around to sue the police for unlawful arrest. I hope Zim turns around to sue the CRS.


This case should have never gone to criminal court in the first place.

I can see that the black community is upset as they feel they get the short end of the stick with police and the courts. USA has had nearly 400 years to get it right with the blacks and other races and it's still a mess.

We up here are just starting to see more black crimes as Canada is now for 10 years taking in many black immigrants and refuges from Sudan, Somalia, and other war torn regions of Africa.

I see intense future problems if we don't deal with it now. The Somalia’s are heavy in the drug trade. Maybe growing up all they knew was to do crimes to survive. But now we have their problems and it will get worse soon.

Now apparently since he was found not guilty, people are discussing Federal Charges ... So much for double jeopardy! Oh wait, the Federal case would be about race. I dont care how folks want to spin this, I dont believe this was a "hate crime" ...

I sure as hell hope Zimmerman sues the media who edited that tape ... I am not the sue happy type, but after such an action, Zimmerman could use that afford a new start somewhere ... that is if a civil case/a wrongful death case, doesnt pop up to strip it from him,

My view is people all need to let this case END ... the 6 jurors selected could be argued to be ideal for both sides, and they all came to the same conclusion in their verdict.
