Now that's just ridiculous. Arm everyone and the USA gun deaths per year at 25,000 would go up to 250,000 a year.

I was being facetious. 54 people were shot last weekend in my city, resulting in 10 deaths. We are the last state to vote in concealed carry. Once it takes effect I'm sure it will get worse. Little Murders. Guns may not kill people, but they sure help!

The Judge did not let the experts testify because it was believed it could not be proven who it was. Anyway lets wait for the verdict if it was that clear cut should have been 7 - 8 hours ago case closed.

USA has to go with the flow. In 1776 they had only flintlocks not AR-15's and 15 round Glock handguns.

That's why we need 12 juror's. 6 men would see through the nonsense and Zim would be eating Pizza with some beers by now.

80% of the evidence supports self defense, you have to go with it, reasonable doubt all over.

We don't need it. The beating evidence and John Good testimony supports the fact that Zim was on the bottom. Only he would be screaming.

I don't think ya can say that... There was not any exact expert testimony in regards to the voice analysis, just an expert theorizing on it. Only family members identified the scream as their own victim.

When he is found not guilty I hope he sues for wrongful arrest & imprisonment.

What few people think about is the cost of conducting a murder trial. A few years back we had a guy here who allegedly murdered another. Luckily the guy took plea bargain. It would have bankrupted our county. It has me wondering how much of tax payers money is devoured by trials in cites like Detroit where city funds are short to start with.

Just thinking.... Perhaps that is why officers shoot to kill. Look at the money it saves if they kill the killer and avoid a trial.

Welp, verdict is in after only 15~16 hours of actual deliberation. Grrr, stop all the dang talking ya talking heads.

There is no involuntary manslaughter in the charges. 2nd. manslaughter, or not guilty.

Very well stated JW. I believe Zimmerman will be either found innocent or guilty of involuntary manslaughter. With either outcome I fear all hell will break loose in Sanford and South Florida. (added) I hope he is found innocent yet there are no true winners in this tragic event.
