Addy, I'm still waiting to see baby toads, but when you said they were the size of a speck of dirt, and the "bigger" ones were 1/4" in the grass ... no wonder! I'm not focusing for anything that small. I'll have to start looking much closer!
Cute floaters, Shoestring! My biggest bullfrog has been hanging out on the hyacinth ring in the koi pond. I toss him a grub or worm or small grasshopper when I come across one, and he has learned to watch for me when I toss things.
Here are some poisonous frogs that I got pics of (although through the glass, not very clear) at the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis this past weekend. Beautiful colors!
