Neat video, Mucky! You really did it up good, music and slow motion and everything. I'm impressed. :)
Addy, I'm still waiting to see baby toads, but when you said they were the size of a speck of dirt, and the "bigger" ones were 1/4" in the grass ... no wonder! I'm not focusing for anything that small. I'll have to start looking much closer!
Cute floaters, Shoestring! My biggest bullfrog has been hanging out on the hyacinth ring in the koi pond. I toss him a grub or worm or small grasshopper when I come across one, and he has learned to watch for me when I toss things. :)
Here are some poisonous frogs that I got pics of (although through the glass, not very clear) at the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis this past weekend. Beautiful colors!

Neat photos of those Arrow type frogs that the natives put their poisonous slime on their darts and kill with it. They are colored so pretty. Guess pretty is a warning for us to stay away! If you aren't careful and you touch one it's bye bye time :regular_waving_emot

LOOKS LIKE THE ROCK WAS A BIT WARMER THAN THE LITTLE GUY LIKES IN THAT L;AST PIC!

poor thing was trying to figure out what happened, nicely swimming in a skimmer, picked up tossed out onto some big thing (my hand) it jumped off onto the rock. The others I dumped right onto the rock, carefully picked them up with a twig and put back into the pond.

I check the skimmer every day for tads etc, it has very low draw, I think most just swim in. I have it on low just to help circulate the pond.

Ha ha that's the best part of the ride when you come to the end of the tunnel and fly hard into the water..................cept they end up on a rock dumped sometimes getting photographed. Not to many frogs in this world get to have their picture on the internet for the world to view B)

Neat pic, ICSD. Hopefully the longer he stays, the calmer and friendlier he will get, and learn that you're not there to harm, just to take pics. Try tossing him some food. Once he figures out you mean bugs and worms and the such, he may get friendlier much quicker!

with 2 competing froggy posts, I didn't want to start a third; so here's my canal and aqueduct system at night; video is about a minute long and I took the video a day or 2 ago so ignore today's date on the description

later that night, several more tree frogs joined the chorus, but I was too lazy to run the video again; why are they croaking? I'm guessing they're males looking for chics; hope they got laid as it would definitely be nice to have an entire choir
