So long as you Daisey chain the ponds you can do as many as you'd like technically. If your thinking one bog with two ponds and two pumps that from each pond a pump pushes to the same bog the answer would be no .

So I can't pump water from 2 ponds into 1bog? I have to connect them in a way it circulate threw entire pump system as 1

you can but the return from the bog will need to empty into both ponds that would be at the same elevation / an overflow

The two ponds would have to be at the same elevation and they would need a leveling pipe like a jacuzzi/ hot tub and a pool/ an equalizing pipe

I understand what you mean now if I put both in same you have no clue where water is going and more than likely a overflow unless they are exactly level which they will not be so I will have to divide it

SEEM THE pond with the addition make it all one unless you need the separation for species.

Anyone know where i can get 500 neons or cardnals ? WITHOUT SPENDING 5 BUCKS A POP

Question - if a bog filter works better with a slower flow.... but the water in the pond should be turned over once an hour... how would you fix the discrepancy if there's a mismatch? For the pond I'm building, the bog filter will have a lower GPH than is sufficient to run the entirety of the pond water in an hour.
Is it a big deal? Should I have a second pump or something?

I have a skimmer that feeds a smaller waterfall with that pump. My large pump goes into the bog, which overflows over the large waterfall. I’ve never worried about the output. The plants in the bog feed on the nutrients no matter the speed of the water. I think the rate of flow would matter if you have a very tiny bog and a huge pump. My bog is adjustable for the flow, but I typically keep it at the highest rate of flow.
