Nice rocks!
Nice rocks!
Thanks, I do believe I am short on rocks in regards to the bog though. Looks like I may need to purchase (4) 32 gallon Aquablocks to not break the bank on purchasing more rocks. I was really hoping I could get away with filling the entire bog with rocks, but filling an a 7ftx7ftx4ft hole with all rocks requires more then what I ordered. I do have alternatives sources for gathering more rocks from family to get it to completion.
Remind me where you live. California? Around here, filling that hole would cost about $500 max including delivery. At 4’ deep, though, aquablox are a good idea. Stacking plastic pallets could also work really well for very cheap. Milk crates, too. That’s what I chose to use.
@GBBUDD I am looking to do the same as you in regards to the stone from 4-6 to 3/8. I am nowhere on your scale of what I need, but I went ahead and ordered 4 aquablocks which should get me to where I need to be.$500 doesn't go ANYWHERE on the north east cost. i'll have over 5 k in my bog alone and thats having 12 aquablocks but ill have 25 total 10 cubic yards of stone from 4 to 6 to 3/8"
my goodness, a ton of pea gravel around here is $32!I live in Northern Virginia. Rock is roughly $150 a ton and price is also subject to the rock type.

I take no offense @GBBUDD and would like to hear your thoughts. I am pretty stubborn at times and do understand what I am doing most likely goes against the "standard" pond building techniques. No offence @Rabungalow but i see or at least the way things are set up now a lot of now what do i do, how do i hide this, how do i make work . You may have a plan that will work but there are item i see that go against the grain. Trust me i'm al about going against the grain myself
