yep what next pears .Try petsmart for that national geographic meds they are doing great on aggie after she freaked when a large toad that i did not see jumped from the bridge into the pond .The 1 time I took the screening down to work on pond and aggie jumped out and scraped herself up on the concrete and sure glad i had water in the stock tank right by the pond .Had to pick her up in my arms and then she calmed down and put her in the stock tank with those meds .So far pond has not dropped but it has been cool out today with the threat of rain but no rain since the light rain we had this morning .I had a heck of a time getting the banana out of there .

I would do this, first take out the plants and shut down everything and let the water seek it's own level this may take a day or a week but eventually either the pond will be completely empty which means that the liner is leaking at the bottom or it will stop somewhere in between which means there is a leak at that level . If you find that you aren't loosing water then add the plants back and see what happens. If still no water loss then start with the pumps and spitters. It sounds like you have tried this approach but haven't given each step enough time.

Between yesterday and to day I have only lost a half inch and now have no choice but to add more water as I used the hydrant yesterday and did not test the water first and tested my pond a ph was at 9 everything else is good .Tested water coming straight from the well out of the hydrant and sure enough ph was 9 and ran water from whole house filter and ph is 6 .I hope it is not a hole if it is this is a new liner but so far so good if i can get ph down

Test from pond and other test is straight from the well . had to hold camera upside down to get good pic of the water level .Talked to my ponder friend up in NJ and he is sending me a pond measuring stick that i can put on my bridge that is better than the plastic thing i have now and easier to see .Thank you all for the support and hoping it is not a leak .

30 gallons brought ph down to 8 sun through bottle may make color different .I feel if I only lost half an inch in over 12 hours that it could have been the plants .i trimmed a lot of the roots off the grasses and trimmed roots on hyacinth plants

yeh the api and I have a ph meter .It could have been on the low range of nine and it could have also been that I disturbed a lot up from the plants being moved and roots trimmed .I tried to take them out as slow as i could and trim and then put them back .Plus I put quilt batting in both crates .It only brought it down to 8 .The well water is reading at 9 straight from the well but from the whole house filter it is reading 6 .I have a hydrant attached to my well to pull straight from the well rather than using the water from the house water which is filtered .My mistake it should have been tested first from the well .I did not have the quilt batting last night .I borrowed some from my neighbor this morning after I saw ph and started adding water

wel another day of frustration got up before 4 AM to a lose of over 4 inch's of water .So took more plants out and took 1 filter out and checked under liner and it was bone dry /More banana plants dug up after people came and got 3 plants i am still digging them up .I put more water in the pond and pulled a lot of plants out of the waterfall pond .But there is just no way I could be loosing water there since the actual pond liner goes up under the filter tank and the pvc liner is under the filter tank and goes all the way down into the pond and i checked both liners nothing .So far since refilling it has lost about a half inch and refilled it about 5 AM .I had to over filter because of pulling plants so quilt batting went in both filters under the blue filter pads .
