Lowes in NC clearanced out there stream liners 10ftx30ft for 49 dollars and was thinking of getting it .Do you have a lowes near you and saw some on e-bay and and webbs online and northern tool cheap also .

ahh just went to look .I had a piece of styrofoam from a tv I bought and it is 2 inches thick and has small square holes already in it and is 4ft x4 ft and now may try your idea but will have to raise the bridge higher so it can float under it easier if the plants get taller .

I was just at lowes this weekend and didnt even pay attention to the liner I could use that big piece though for $49.

maybe you should call them just to see if they have it clearanced out there because my Danville VA store still has it for 89 dollars and the one in NC had it for 49 .

Bought a few plants for around the pond. They were $20 each that's a very good price for the blue spruce shrub they are $120 at my local nursery and they were the same size.

Colorado spruce are very pretty trees but up here they get a disease and their needles turn brown. It is some kind of aphid that comes around December and I go out and spray mine w/ a hose in winter to try to keep the disease I way from my cheap little one I bought for $2. a few yrs ago. I guess if the tree is grown in a colder climate then ours they tend to do well cuz the bugs don't survive.

I put in some baby blue spruce, they are slowly growing, but that is what I want a very slow grow. Very pretty trees

You can use bayer advanced disease, insect, and mite control and its supposed to work really well.

Thanks for the info sm..............I'm going to check and see if I can find some of that to use as a protector so mine doesn't get infested.

good gosh I hate you smcox1 .I want to pick those rocks right off the screen .Well don't really hate just darn right jealous :luxlove: love those rocks :heartpump: :heartpump: :heartpump: :moped: gonna scoot over and snatch them lol they are smooth like a babies bottom
