Thanks I'm going to cut about 4 inches off the top of the "biofalls" and get another one for a skimmer because it has slots in the sides so I can put some filters in front of the pump.

I would double up that storage bin .I did with mine .I just cut another the same way and stuck them inside each other makes it a heck of alot stronger that way .Worth the time and cost to do it now and save any headaches you may get later .The i shoulda done it's come back to bite you .Make sure your turns are not to tight if I remember a couple of people here have had problems with that in there streams .I think addy said she had to adjust some also

The turns weren't the problem it was getting the stream bed level on our slope. Found a few low edges on the down slope area. Water would just flow nicely out and away lol

I picked up a 12'x17' liner for a good price so my pond will be as big as the liner allows.

my liner was 20 by 25 but i went 4 1/2 feet deep and my pond is 10 by22 up to the water fall with some excess left .So you should get a good size out of that as you are going 3 feet deep .

Finally done digging!!! I still need some underlayment but this is what it will look like.

It's getting big boulder around the inside edges and the flat parts are getting gravel!
(Ps I don't care about the gravel getting dirty so you don't have to tell me lol!)
I do however need to go back to one of my local nurseries and take a picture of their pond with a gravel bottom and it rocked in. It's the most natural looking man made pond I have ever seen.

may want to make sure you don't have to many wrinkles on the bottom when you put the liner in for good .You can trip over them when you have to get in the pond once the fish are in you have to slide your feet so you don't step on them .Been there done that lol ,fell 2 times and then had to empty the pond and pull the liner as tight as I could .Hard to do when you are doing it by yourself .More or less lay down a pull with your hands and push with your feet .Glad no planes flying over when I did that .

Also that first shelf is about 16"-18" deep and the center hole is about 36"-40" deep. I still need to get the liner for the stream if I can find some.
