Snake catching 101...................#19 caught! not fatty

The trap
Real egg, 7 small fake spotted eggs, chicken, and some raw cod. A few plants tossed around it.

The snake, it almost appears the fish are chasing it...............

Crawled across the trap............biting at the fake eggs and trying to get to the cod/eggs

Almost thought it was swimming away, we were yelling no go into the trap the trap the trap! lol

Snake head to the left by the hyacinth leaves, heading away.

It turned around went into the trap and attacked the cod, you can see the dark head biting the cod. Right bottom of the trap.

A few dead fry, the cod, chicken the eggs, and the snake!

You have, thanks, I have no way to do it now, plants need to removed, stuff groomed back. I can do nothing for the next xx weeks, And it will be one huge task, have other huge tasks that need to be done first.

And I have a lot of rocks, the entire slope has stacked rocks, the stream bed, rocks laid here and there and the big, lil and loop ponds all have rocks. Easier for me right now, keep trapping.

Well, this is definitely keeping me on the edge of my seat, waiting for the big one! All these little entree courses have piqued my appetite to finally see fatty make it into the trap.

Lol we were cheering it on, totally loss track of the movie we were watching, total snake focus!

We have left the one cam in full TV screen mode, so just glance see if a snake is wandering by.

Need to put fresh cod in, it got stinky and sort of falling apart.
The real eggs rot ewwww stink if they break.

I release the fish and tads daily, that wander into the traps.

A small one, almost looks the size of a born recently. I think this war will go on next summer also.

Yeah sucks, how many did she have? average 8 to 15. But can have up to 60.

I now have 4 traps I ordered one got sent two. Two in the pond right now, but tiny can get out easily. Not as fat as a pencil.

I can't believe there is still a frog living in there with all of those snakes Addy! My snake has still to take a fish! Prefers frogs I guess...He is getting big and fat on something....
