They are looking good Matt! I hope sure hope someday I get some baby Koi. I have had these now really big 2 Koi for over 22 years and no babies. A few years ago I got some additional Koi and now they are getting big and want to breed them with the big fat females that I have had forever. I moved some of the koi that I suspect are possible males and hope something happens, but the females are about six times the size and weight, as they are very very large and the ones I think are males are only 8 or 9 inches, maybe only barely one pound. I would say the big females are maybe 8 - 10 pounds, just guessing, never moved them in so many many years, don't have a net that big, if I moved them I think I would use a big pillow case or something.... do you think they could spawn with such a size difference?
