A simple little shed with some bling can go along way without dumping serious cash. Such as a simple gable roof looking at the pond and adding a small deck and i mean small more like just han d rails and window boxes and stepping up the windows to something more interesting like tall skinny windows instead of the regular rectangles
kinda like this this is from Gemmas pond a simple little shed with the deck and some interesting siding a little rake trim goes a long way and of course the interesting round top door. now by the time you do all these extras your shed could have be made larger but boring

That's definitely a nice little shed. The one I'm looking at probably isn't much bigger than that. I think the picture makes it look much bigger than it actually it.

It's only 120 sq. feet is pretty much just a couple simple sheds attached to each other with a bunch of really nice trim and finish work.

Time for an update! I kind of forgot about this thread. I haven't gotten much done with the pond since winter hit but I do have all my equipment and supplies ready to go.

Can't wait for the day I get to see water running through all this stuff.

My "pump house" arrived right in the middle of a blizzard. It was basically just dropped off at the end of the driveway and I had to break down the pallet and haul every piece one by one to the back yard and restack everything.

This shed is from cedarshed.com and is their 6x9 gardners delight.

My plan is build a trap door in the floor which will give me access to the settlement tank. It will also house my pump, pressure filter, UV sterilizer, and air pumps.

That looks like a nice shed.
It better be for what I paid. Cedar anything is not cheap. Being its going to be really close to the pond I wanted something that kind of had that "cabin on the lake" vibe.

I've also been in contact getting a few bids for my flagstone patio areas I want installed. Looking at roughly 300sq ft total and will go all the way to the ponds edge at the main viewing area.

I wish I could do more of that work myself but I'm not really confident I have the patience for flagstone. I'd end up rushing it and it would turn out looking like poo.

Been a little while since I've posted here.
I started digging 14 months ago. The pond is still not "done" but, it's getting there.

I'm loving this "hybrid" pond. It has the "garden pond" look but also has actual filtration equipment including mechanical and biological filtration.

Next spring there's going to be a whole lot of hardscaping going on. Flagstone patio, flagstone walkway, stone steps up to the shed, then a small flagstone landing leading to the porch of the shed.

Impressive all around. I'd think that combination of filters should do the job
