yeh and this way you can get rid of it now and you won't end up with it in your pond next year causing a big algae bloom .I read on one sight that people who take there fish out for the winter and put there fish in an indoor pond over salt there ponds and poor peroxide in them for the winter and run the the water down there waterfalls to clean them good and then say with the rain and snow over winter this dissapates and they run it again as soon as they can in the spring to clean it out again and then test the water and do a few water changes before they put there fish back .I geuss they have had luck doing it year after year .I found it through google and stories seemed interesting so had to read the whole thing
