I'm running my smaller aerator, in addition to the Pond Breather this winter. I have some bigger koi and last year my Pond Breather broke, so I wanted some "back up".

Tula welcome back weve not seen you in a while , in saying that I had to take a months sabatical myself due to illness which has so far seen my waist line drop four notches belt wise .
Howevever read my latest post about protecting your pond against freezing by useing policarbonate roofing sheets it may well change your mind about leaving the pond open to the elements :-
