HI

TODAY SAW A TURN TOWARDS FINISHING

SUN OUT.... SO GOT THE WILLOW ROOF LAID. WE ALL LOVE THE SHADED AREAS AND THE STRIPY AFFECT ON POND TIMBERS.
STRIPED LILLY BAY OF BUTYL LINER, KNOCKED WALL OUT, RELAID UNDERLAY, FITTED ANOTHER LINER, BLUE IN COLOUR, THIS WILL NOW BE NURSEY OR QUARANTINE BAY AND WILL PUT LILLIES INTO TOP POND.
TOMORROW CLEAN OUT WHEEL BAY AND FINISH LAYING TOP COVER BLOCKS AND GET WATER WHEEL BACK IN PLACE.
STILL WAITING ON VEIWING GLASS TO ARRIVE, WILL CHECK OUT MONDAY, AS HOLDING UP FINAL PUSH FOR COMPLETION.

ADDED AT END TWO PHOTOS OF SHINTO GATE OR TORI ARCH

That looks fantastic Whiskey! Can't wait to see the glass in there, and then liner and WATER!!! Love your blue liner for nursery. Those little babies will show up very nicely in there. Are you going to leave the wood over top natural, or going to paint it or stain it? Love the shaded effect you got with those slats. Sun comes through, but not all of it. Do you get much snow where you are?
Can't wait to see the water wheel in motion again. That's almost my favorite part of your creation, but that window will be unique as well!

Hi All

Complained the other day about the two rolls of willow being different shades. they kindly sent me out a free roll today and must say it looks twice as good as before hand.
photo one: before
photo two :after
Also the viewing window glass came today. all 73.68kg of it.at my old work place, this can stay there till help arrives at the weekend to lift it on board a van then bring it on home.
Got water wheel in place again today and plumbing in place, getting some more capping stones tomorrow to finish off wheel housing.

Yippee yippee yay on the waterwheel ready to go in motion!!! My favorite part ... and the window and the screen looks wonderful! So, I had to check out the kg to lbs conversion chart, and found that your 73.86 kg window weighs ..... OMG OMG OMG ..... 162# Yikes, you will need several helpers come the weekend! But, we are all anxiously awaiting the window in place, water behind it, fish to see through it! OK, I'll try to be more patient, but the end is sooooo close, and the end result will be so fantastic, and we all followed you all the way through. Thanks for sharing with us!

That screening is quite nice and gives some nice shade and protection from flying bird eyes that might be tempted for a treat of fishy dinners! Now keep going whiskey, don't let up now........your so near the finish line
